Well lions are carnivores and we're (you allready said it) omnivores. So we can seek an alternative by not eating meat. But I prefer meat over plants....

meat is the bomb and I would die a slow death without it. PEOPLE NEED PROTEIN!! Don't like how it's prepared? DON'T PREPARE IT THEN! I don't like how it's prepared, but I love eating it, so yeah, whatever. It's also healthy to eat everything in the food chain. Grains, dairy, vegetables, fruits, PROTEIN!

meat is not the only source of protein.
beans (like soy) and legumes (like peanuts) are pure protein.
or you could just eat a dog, or a human. after all, no one really knows what is in a hot dog.

eating meat is very subjective. personally i believe in vegetarians. Why would you waste ten pounds of grain to make one pound of meat and destroy many habitats in the process? to me, that is just stupid. Also, meat is not the only source of protein. In fact, due to this fact that many vegetarians are susceptible to anemia, many take care of themselves in order to prevent that. Long story short... The reason why there are mostly 10 year olds reading this is because I believe it was intended for the younger generation. I mean, it's a kid-friendly manga. Not that I'm 10. I'm 16, but I still love this manga all the same.
