I dont think hes a bad parent. He told Yotsuba not to go with strangers, taught her not to lie, taught her how dangerous wandering off in a huge crowd on her own is, and properly diciplend her when she went off on her bike on her own to go to Fuka's school.

oh please. whose parents (or grandparents or frat-boy uncles) didn't give them a sip of beer when they were a little kid, if only to see the horrible faces they'd make.

He's not a bad dad. He doesn't beat her or belittle her. Frankly he's a much better parent than most REAL people of that age I know who have kids.
